Dessert Treat @ Carlo Ristorante Italiano

I was invited  together with my other office mates for a dessert treat from Miss Rhon. She picked the restaurant herself, for she wanted to look at the place and try their food too.

Carlo Restorante Italiano has been on business ever since I could remember. I have heard about the place from my father a couple of times and he even brought some delicious pizza from the place.

It has a cozy ambiance and   impressive food offerings. But we only tried their dessert, it's called "Cassata", It was served iced chilled and according to the waitress best taste with wine. I let her pour a little bit of wine only, but I think the taste was not good, because when you taste it, the twist of wine doesn't go with the taste of cassata for my taste.

Afrique's Gourmet Pizza, Pasta, Steaks and more..

Iloilo City is the hometown of my Father, so when we went there my cousin suggested this restaurant to us. . They have many branch in the City and  we visit  their branch at Smallville, Iloilo City.

The place was crowded by mostly family and groups of people. But we manage to get a table, courtesy of the Owner, yes, you heard it right, we were so lucky at that time that the owner was there and he offered us the table beside some two guys, then after he introduced them as his nephew's..haha^^ it would have been awkward to eat beside the two guys and of course the Owner talking to his nephew's. Good God, the waiter was able to transfer us to a table on the 2nd floor of the building.

We ordered their Special Pizza, Pasta's with white and tomato sauce, a salad and a pitcher of lemonade. The food experience was so so great, I had a full stomach after we ate all of it. I really liked their Specail Pizza and the Salad, I'm not that a pasta person, but the taste was so delicious, You shouldn't miss dthis place when going to Iloilo City. Two thumbs up! for the good place and good food, plus good service. :)

Here's a link from there website, check it out and be delighted with there menu.

Lord Byron's Back Ribs (Aug. 24, 2011)

You have to make a reservation to be sure you'll have a seat and table when you get there. Lord Byron is very famous especially to Korean's, so don't be surprised if you  will see their customers as mostly Korean's.

Famous Back Ribs
The Back Ribs cost Php 150.00 only.  They  cook them fresh and served hot on the plate.  Aside from back ribs they also have some other menu. But the most popular is this one. It's so flavorful and mouthwatering.  The place is a nice-homey "Kubo" and its relaxing.

Again, a must try when visiting Bacolod City.

Chicken Deli (Aug. 23, 2011)

When a friend of mine came back in Bacolod, after Chicken House he wished to visit Chicken Deli. It's one of the restaurants we used to hang-out before if we don't want to eat a lot.
The place is very easy to find, it's near Capitol Lagoon Park at 8th St., along Lacson St., It has a nice and casual atmosphere. You can choose to wether you want to stay in an airconditioned area or just the casual one with ceiling fans. But we like to stay at the corner, it's were hidden on the side
.
Usually my friend will just order his favorite San Mig Light and me my favorite Mango Shake. They served the best Mango Shake here. Then we will share the pork bbq, chicken inasal and our favoirte Baticolon (gizzard) a part of chicken.

This place is memeorable for us, we got to share not just the good foods and drinks, But also good memories of happiness and fun. :)

Grill Guru (Aug. 25, 2011)

My younger brother introduced this place to us. It was one evening, when we can't decide where to go and he remembered this place. It's a new restaurant in the City.
Entrance, pool area and dining area

The place was near his friend's house and also near University of St. La Salle 2nd gate. It was a house converted into a restaurant.Nad they say that their cheif was a formerly from Bobs Restaurant (maybe just a rumor).

When we entered the place the pool was so stunning and inviting. They have some tables outside, which is very clean and bright, it was all white and it's so good at night. We went inside and chose a table near the pool. I like their design on the ceiling, with the fan. The waiters cheerfully greeted us. He suggested their Grilled dishes and their specially made Iced Tea (with real tea). We ordered Grilled Chicken Teriyaki,Chicken Sate and special iced tea.

They served the drinks first and after a few minutes our chosen Grilled dish. The food was flavorful and perfectly match with their Sate Rice.

I'm surely coming back to this place. A must try when visting Bacolod CIty.

Bacolod Chicken House

Bacolod Chicken House has many branch in Bacolod City, but my favorite place is located at Lacson St., in fron of Pendy's Restaurant. Whenever I craved for Chicken Inasal and Spareribs, first restaurant that comes into my mind is this place. :)
The mouth watering Spareribs, Garlic Rice and the soy-sauce.

Their Chicken Inasal taste good too!

When you visit Bacolod City it's a must try.

Cainan sa Cebu

The restaurant was located at SM City Cebu. We passed by the restaurant and went inside to try their foods. They serve Filipino foods and the prize is affordable. I ordered Chopsuey  and I wanted to try something spicy, so I ordered  Bicol Express.

Chopsuey and Bicol Express

I didn't like the Chopsuey, the taste was fine. The vegetables were over cooked. I liked the taste of Bicol express, it's spicy with a twist of coconut milk.

Gerry's Grill - CEBU (Aug. 21, 2011)

Gerry's Grill

Since my I craved for Sisig, we looked around Ayala Center for restaurant's with Sisig on their menu. We stopped by Gerry's Grill and I liked the place, then  decided to eat at the place.

I was not that hungry and I just craved for Sisig, so I ordered Pork Sisig, Garlic Rice and my favorite Grilled Squids. (:

The food was tasteful, although the taste of Sisig was not what he looked forward to taste and same with the Grilled Squid, the taste was so so.

TGI Fridays - CEBU

The restaurant was more of 80's, so colorful and groovy. :)
TGIF Spareribs

For my last night in Cebu  (Aug. 21, 2011) , we dine at TGI Fridays located at Ayala Center Cebu. I like the atmosphere inside the restaurant, it's a happy and groovy ambiance. I decided to order their best seller menu: Spareribs.

It's so yummy! and with just one serving I was so full. The taste of their java rice is exceptional, I never tasted a rice as good as what they have.
The prize is affordable and it's worth it. (:

After a few minutes.. done! hihi^^

While waiting for my order the waiter served this type of bread, I forgot the name. It taste good too, with butter. :)

I was  surprised when suddenly the all the waiter's gathered together in one of the table with tambourines. One of the customer's in the table was so surprised and her friends around her were laughing loudly . They do the surprised birthday greeting on the restaurant. I enjoyed watching them and seeing the birthday girl so happy and they gave her a little item afterwards.

The food experience was delicious and it was so special, because I'm with my special someone. <3
